One technical person for companies without an IT department
Your one technical person: CRM, website, integrations.
By the hour, no hire. I fix and develop what you already have: Salesforce or another CRM, a WordPress site or shop, and the connections between your systems, email and calendar. Without rebuilding everything from scratch.
- 6 years on the Salesforce platform
- WordPress and Salesforce: one person
- Reply within one business day
- First call free of obligation
Does this sound familiar?
- The person who built the website or the CRM has disappeared, and nobody has the passwords.
- Changes are put off for months because there is nobody to make them.
- Several vendors for different systems, and none of them replies.
- Fear that trying to change anything will break something.
- CRM, website, shop and email do not talk to each other, and someone retypes data by hand.
- You need a few hours a month, not a hire and not another project.
Services
CRM
Salesforce after implementation, another CRM, or moving off a spreadsheet. Data hygiene, reports, permissions, forms and email feeding the CRM.
Integrations
Website or shop with the CRM, Outlook and Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, invoicing and project systems. Repairing an integration that has stopped working.
WordPress and WooCommerce
Fixes, updates after a backup, speed, security, shop changes. On the site you already have.
Site takeover after an agency
Recovering access to the domain, hosting and admin, an inventory of what is where, a health check and documentation.
Monthly care
Updates, backups with restore tests, monitoring, a pool of small changes, a quarterly review. Website, CRM and integrations in one pool.
Salesforce support
Running Salesforce with nobody looking after it? A separate site: changes, permissions, AI and a free pre-AI audit.
AI and apps
AI implementation
A report that assembles itself. Email that sorts itself. AI connected to the CRM and databases on an account with safe permissions.
AI training
When the team should be able to do it themselves: accounting, sales, other departments. Workshops on your own examples.
Android apps
Taking over an existing app, bug fixing, Google Play requirements. A separate site.
Why one person rather than three vendors
One person knows WordPress and Salesforce
The CRM partner does not know the website, the web agency does not know the CRM. When something breaks between them, nobody feels responsible. Here one person does.
Small changes are normal work
A new field in a form, a fix on a subpage, a report for the boss. Agencies wait for a project. I do what is blocking you today.
A backup before every change
Site, database, CRM configuration. If something goes wrong, we go back to how it was an hour ago. Bigger changes go on a copy first.
Plain language
You do not need to know what a plugin, an API or a sandbox is. You describe the problem in your own words, I come back with options and what each one means.
Billed for time worked
Single jobs, a block of hours or ongoing care. No hire, no retainer for nothing. Quoted per case.
Documentation stays with you
An inventory of access, systems and changes in one place, in your hands. The next person does not start from zero, and you are not dependent on me.
In numbers
- 6 yearson the Salesforce platform, since 2020
- 4Salesforce certifications
- 3 countriesPoland, Germany, Sweden: companies I have worked for
- 5,000+active users of my Android apps
- 1 daybusiness day to reply
- 3 in 1CRM, website and integrations: one person
How we start
A call
What does not work, what is waiting in the queue, which systems you have and who uses them. 30 minutes, online.
Access and inventory
A separate account for me in every system. I write down what is where and point out what is at risk of failing and what can wait.
The first change
Something small and visible from your list. You see how I work: backup, change, check, note.
Then as needed
Single jobs, a block of hours or monthly care with an agreed response time.
What working together looks like
Three companies I work with today. Names on request during a call, once the clients agree to a public description.
A company with Salesforce and a WordPress site
- Situationtwo systems, two vendors, neither knew the other
- Formatad hoc plus projects
- Volume1–2 hours a month, a larger job every six months
Small changes to the site and the CRM, and every so often a bigger piece of work: among others, connecting the site to Salesforce so that enquiries reach the sales team directly, without being retyped from an inbox. One person for both systems.
A trading company, Salesforce implemented by an outside vendor
- Situationthe implementation partner finished the project and nobody stayed
- Formatongoing support
- Volumeabout 12 hours a month
Day-to-day changes to the sales process, reports for management, tidying up permissions after staff left, answering questions from sales reps. One person to call when something does not work.
A company with its own mobile app
- Situationthe app works, its author stopped developing it
- Formatad hoc
- Volumefixes every two months
Bug fixes, keeping up with new app store requirements, small changes. Infrequent but regular, and always the same person who knows the code.
References available on request, with the clients’ agreement.
One person by the hour, a web agency or a Salesforce partner?
For a company that needs a few hours a month across several systems at once, what matters is whether one person knows them all and remembers your business.
| One person by the hour (me) | Web agency | Salesforce partner | Nobody | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Small changes | Within days, no project needed | Wait for a retainer or a “bigger job” | Often below their minimum | Wait for months |
| Website and CRM together | One person knows both | Website only, the CRM is “not our area” | Salesforce only, the website is “not our area” | — |
| Connecting the site to the CRM | Done end to end, from form to CRM record | A plugin, the rest “someone from the CRM side will set up” | The CRM side, the form “is for the agency” | Retyping by hand |
| Monthly cost | As many hours as you need | A retainer or minimum packages | Minimum packages, higher rates | Nothing, until the first outage |
| Who remembers your business | The same person, with notes on every system | Changing account managers and developers | Changing consultants | Nobody |
| When we part ways | Access, documentation and inventory stay with you | Depends on the contract, access often stays with the agency | Project documentation | — |
From the knowledge base
Short, practical pieces on what companies come to me with most often.
Access checklist after an agency
The site works, so nothing seems urgent. Until the day the domain expires, email stops, or one sentence on the site needs changing and it turns out nobody has a password. This list is for before that day.
Outlook and CRM
“Let’s connect Outlook to the CRM” sounds like a single task. In practice it is a set of decisions: what syncs, whose email, on which account, and what happens when a rep leaves. This article sorts those questions out before anyone clicks “connect”.
WordPress updates without fear
Companies do not skip updates out of laziness but out of fear: last time, the contact form disappeared afterwards. The fear is justified. The answer is not to stop updating but to follow a routine where every step can be undone.
Who does the work
I have been building on Salesforce since 2020. Today I am the sole owner of the Salesforce org at a Swedish software company: development, permissions, integrations, production releases. Before that, two years in a Vaillant Group team (loyalty programme, large Apex API, installer portal) and three years at Britenet for clients in education, insurance and finance. Salesforce certifications: Platform Developer I, Administrator, Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant.
Integrations have been part of my job for years: Workato, REST APIs, Kantata, Workday, NetSuite, Snowflake, and for a client I connected a WordPress site to Salesforce. More about me.
Who I work with today. A trading company whose Salesforce was implemented by an outside vendor: ongoing support, about 12 hours a month. A company with Salesforce and a WordPress site: 1–2 hours of changes a month and a larger job every six months, including connecting the site to the CRM. A company with its own mobile app: fixes every two months. Names on request during a call.
Your developer has vanished and the list of changes keeps growing? Tell me what needs doing.
I reply within one business day. The first call is free of obligation.
Describe what you need
No technical names needed. Tell me what does not work, or what you wish worked on its own. I reply within one business day.
