CRM and integrationsTomasz Stępnik · your one technical person

How I work

On what you have. In small steps. On a separate account. For time worked. With a note after every change.

Six principles

  • On what you have. I do not rebuild systems from scratch. I fix and extend what works.
  • In small steps. Every change checked, with a backup and a way back.
  • On a separate account. Named access, only to what is needed. Handed back at the end.
  • In plain language. Options with pros and cons instead of one right answer. No jargon unless you want it.
  • For time worked. Single jobs, blocks of hours or ongoing support. Quoted per case.
  • With notes. I write down what I did and why, so the next person does not start from zero.

Ways of working together

Quoted after a call, depending on scope. All amounts net, with a VAT invoice.

  • A single fix

A content or layout change, a bug fix, a new field, a report. Quoted up front, delivered within days.

  • A block of hours

Hours paid up front, used over a few months. For companies that come back every few weeks with something small.

  • Monthly care

Updates, backups, monitoring, a pool of changes, a response time in the contract, a quarterly review. Details.

  • Integration at a fixed price

Scope in writing after a short analysis. You know up front what is included and what is separate.

  • Putting a site or system in order

One-off: review, updates, speed, security, inventory. With a report.

  • Takeover after an agency

Recovering access, inventory, health check, documentation. Details.

Access security

  • A separate, named account in every system: site admin, hosting, CRM, email. No shared logins. You can switch it off at any time.
  • Two-factor authentication on every account I use.
  • Passwords in a password manager, never in email or chat. We hand them over through a secure channel.
  • A backup before every change; bigger changes go on a staging copy or a CRM sandbox first.
  • A confidentiality agreement on request before first access. A data processing agreement where GDPR requires one.
  • Domain, hosting and licences in your name, on your accounts and invoices. At the end I hand back access and an inventory of what is where.

What a request looks like

  1. You report an issue

Email, form or a Teams message. In plain words, no technical names. A link and a screenshot help.

  2. I confirm and quote

Within one business day: what I will do, how long it will take, when it will be done. With care: whether it fits in the pool.

  3. I do the work

Backup, change on a copy, check, publish. If something turns out bigger than it looked, I say so before exceeding the quote.

  4. I show and write it down

A short note on what changed and how to use it. An entry in your documentation.

One person by the hour, a web agency or a Salesforce partner?

For a company that needs a few hours a month across several systems at once, what matters is whether one person knows them all and remembers your business.

Questions about working together

How is time billed?

In half-hour increments, with a list of work done on the invoice or in the monthly report. A one-hour minimum for a single job.

Do we sign a contract?

For monthly care and integrations, yes: scope, response time, confidentiality, personal data. For single jobs, confirmation by email is enough.

What if we need something urgently?

With monthly care, outages are handled the same day. Outside care I do my best to help, but I do not promise a deadline I cannot keep.

Do you work remotely?

Yes, fully remote. On-site meetings for larger projects, by arrangement.

What happens when we stop working together?

I hand back access and leave the documentation and the inventory of systems. The domain, hosting and licences were in your name all along, so nothing needs transferring.

Your developer has vanished and the list of changes keeps growing? Tell me what needs doing.

I reply within one business day. The first call is free of obligation.
